Graduated from American University of Beirut with a BA in sociology/Anthropology and a diploma in child education to join Terre Des Homes organization as a volunteer during the civil war to help less fortunate children with medical problems. Married to Dr. Bassam Kassem and stayed at home to raise my three boys by myself. 1997 went Back to work as an elementary teacher at the American Community School. 2000, started supporting NGOs through actively promoting them. 2010 went back to university to get my masters in political sociology. 2013 candidate to the Lebanese parliament where no elections took place. 2014 got my diploma in diplomatic consultancy and conflict resolution. Again 2014 candidate to the parliament. Became first Arab woman in the Women In Parliament Global Forum representing the MENA Region.2017 Global advisor for Women Political Leaders Global Forum.
